February 11th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »

With 43 caps for Serbia and Montenegro, Mladen Krstajic is one of the more experienced players on the team. The 31-year-old defender has made it official that he will retire from international play following his appearence with the Plavi this summer in Germany. Krstajic says that he wants to focus his attention on his German club team Schalke04. Krstajic’s decision mirrors that of Predrag Djordjevic and Savo Milosevic as some of the older guard on the Serbia team will be moving away from national team participation.
