Im amazed that Sports Illustrated (American Magazine) Decided to leave the Serbs for the end. Who was 2nd last? Iran?
lol.
Anyways its a good article. Except they forget to mentions that the country is called Serbia and Montenegro (Not just Serbia) Jebem njih Majke.
Also I doubt we will start with 3 up front. Which means no spot for Savo Milosevic

Yeah… America is a bit international soccer stupid, but even SI recognizes Serbia and Montenegro’s potential greatness.

4-3-3 system?
No, don’t think so! Will be 4-4-2.
So, one striker (Savo, Ziga, Kezza) must go out. And dont count Vukcevic in as first eleven player. Too much attacking, midfield will be more balanced.

Zigic is out from first 11,because Petkovic started with Savo and MAteja in the front in almost every game…
p.s. did u heare that here in SM they are giving tv frequencys for 5 chanels and Bk tv didn’t get any of them so now we can’t watch the WC ‘couse Bk tv had the tv rights for it…
e srbijo,srbijo….

so all of Serbia and Montenegro cannot watch the world cup unless they have a satellite?
Posted from
United States

as it looks it is so.
i hope that something will work out for us,we are waiting for this for 8 years….

Bruc3: ow, we know that “almost everyone” in Serbia does have a sattelite. Plus the fact that each single flatblock in for example Belgrad or Novi Sad does have more illegal broadcasting then that all satelites can receive.
So no problem after all.
PS. What did you think if B92 (sponsored by NATO) did have the rights to broadcast the WC and some one from Serbian governement forbid them to show? The whole world would bee on top of it!

So who’s fault is this again? The Serbian government’s fault?
Posted from
United States

i think it is so.
The RRA (Replubic Radio-diffusion Agency)is as they say “indenpendent”,but it is easy to see that it is supervisioned by governmant…
Arno don’t get me wrong: did u know that the average wage in Serbia is 200E and most familys try to live out day by day,and don’t have mony for satelites, note even those illegal…

what about setting up viewings in churches or public places?
Posted from
United States

@bruc3: every single flatblock in the maincities in Serbia does have illegal transmitting (also via sattelite) via which the ppl who are lving in those flatblock can receive a lot of programms. Including broadcasting of the WC2006.

@Lyle:
THere were some ideas, but it was all until the RRA made their verdict.
@Arno: What about the rest od Serbia?

Serbia in 4-3-3 formation ![]()
Hilarious!

I have a question, perhaps a good blog topic. I read today that 56% of the voters in Montenegro will be voting for seperation from Serbia. How will this impact the team. Are any of the players from Montenegro, will they be left off the team and will Serbia suffer for it.
As the team stands now, I think it will go through in second place after Holland, but will this change after the vote on May 15?

soze,
yeah, that’s an interesting event about to take place. we here at world cup blog have actually already blogged about it, a month or so ago.
i’ll re-address the issue when it gets closer to may 15.
nothing is going to happen to the team though. they will not split up and they may even stay together through EURO 2008, because the qualifying schedule has already been made up.
it will be an oddity at the world cup, but serbia and montenegro will still be one nation in germany.
balkans power!!!

Soze,
Vucinic, Vukcevic, Duljaj and Jevric are all Crnogorci

No chance against Argentina maybe a small chance against Holland and I pick you to beat Ivory Coast. Good Luck!

Todd> I would say it a little differently. Small chance against Holland, beat Argentina and IC outright. ARG is out in the first round. Put money down on that.
Crno> Vukcevic is still on the squad?..
