Fomer Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic, a hero still to many in Serbia, died this past week (he stupidly ignored his doctors’ orders and apparently inadvertantly poisoned himself to death… oops) and won’t ever see Serbia – Montenegro play in the World Cup.
To some, this might just be the right kind of punishment for having committed genocide in the former Yugoslavia.
Just think how good Yugoslavia would be right about now in football, if it wasn’t for guys like Slobodan “the Butcher” Milosevic. Oy veh!!!
Update: Slobbo apparently died of a heart attack, as first reported, and not by accidently poisoning himself.
