Serbia to Face Tunisia in March 1 Friendly

February 16th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | No Comments »

Serbia and Montenegro has inked a deal to take on Tunisia on March 1 in Tunis. The game will feature two teams that qualified for the World Cup. Tunisia should be an interesting challenge for the Plavi. The team won the African Cup of Nations in 2004 and qualified for the 2002 World Cup. Frenchman Roger Lemerre coaches the team that has a lot of experienced players and a dangerous scoring threat Dos Santos. This is exactly the type of challenge I think Serbia and Montenegro needs leading up to the World Cup: a good non-European team that has a strong offense.
