Serbia and Montenegro’s Famous Four

Hey, if your defense conceded just one goal in ten games than you would give it a nickname too. Such is the case in Serbia and Montenegro where the Plavi’s defense was downright scary during World Cup qualifying. As a result, the backline of Mladen Krstajic, Nemanja Vidic, Nemanja Vidic, and Goran Gavrancic is henceforth known as the “Famous Four.” While they might not be as well known as John, Paul, Ringo and George, this foursome is fearsome and a group you should keep an eye of this summer in Germany. It would be nice to have 2 Nemanja Vidic’s in a defence, but the fourth of the so called “Famous Four” defence is called Ivica Dragutinovic from Sevilla !
