Serbia and Montenegro Wins Tune Up Game 6-0

This was a most telling game. One can dismiss it as just a friendly against an Austrian select team. But that same Austrian team beat Ghana a week before 1-0.

The Serbs routed the Austrian side 6-0. This game was not just one of total domination, but one of a calculated dissection.

This Serb team is peaking at the optimum time and is poised to surprise the pundits.

More importantly, unlike past teams, this one is just that - a team. They are prepared to sacrifice for the common good, and individualism is being left behind. Hard to believe but true.

They talk like a team, are motivated and eager to show what they can do after topping Spain in qualifying.

Again, I’m looking for some major surprises from this squad.
