Nepotism
Ilija Petkovic picked his son, Dusan Petkovic, to replace Mirko Vucinic. Maybe not a good move. Thoughts?

Petkovic is obviously following Zlatko Kranjcar’s coaching by putting his son on the team. Here’s the difference, Niko Kranjcar is one hell of a player and was a GOOD choice by his father.

Scandalous.
This will axe Ilija Petkovic after the world cup. Only the title can help him now.

Dusan Petkovic is not a bad player, but serbia have a much better player. This players is certainly better football players: Dejan Rambo Petkovic, Nenad Kovacevic, Marko Pantelic, Aleksandar Lukovic, Simon Vukcevic.

I agree Vuckevic or another attacker should have been put in to replace him. Not a bloody defender

It is ‘a la Mourinho’ move people, everyone is focused on him so players can relax and focus on training. As a matter of fact players will be extra motivated to play for their couch who is being crucified by press.

Yes Denis you don’t have respect. And yes you are the kind of “bad upbringing”.Name “Dusan” or “Dushan” is very old in Serbia.Even 5 times older then your country you’re living in.I don’t want to comment “your” names and how they sound in our language.

I agree with Gibraldo and I think it’s going to affect the team. Already I have noticed sudden discontent and bad mood in the team. It just came as a bad surprise for them no one expected.

Well true, I’ve heard that the likes of Paunovic and Pantelic would have been sore and booked holidays but there’s no saying just how sore or not the younger blokes would have been as well as tired from U21 comp in Portigal. On the other hand Pethovic is in fair form, He’s EXPERIENCED and he was not expecting this so he would be enthusiastic. I think he will also try harder to impress with his father standing right beside the pitch, this isn’t all fun and spoils for him either.
