Koroman Injured in Pompey Debut

February 27th, 2006 | By: WC Bob | 1 Comment »

Ognjen Koroman’s debut at Portsmouth was not exactly the best one. The Serbia and Montenegro midfielder tweaked his hamstring and was taken out of the game in the 68th minute. Koroman has been loaned to the English club from Terek Grozny and after much delay made his debut this past weekend. It is not known at this point how long he will be out of action, but certainly for a guy trying to work his way into match fitness ahead of the World Cup this isn’t the greatest news.
