Kezman Wins Award, Military Service Postponed

Monday was a big day for Serbia and Montenegro’s Mateja Kezman. Not only did the 27-year-old win the Sveti Sava award in recognition of his work with children, but he also was awarded the opportunity to delay his national military service until he turns 34. This type of story is something I just wouldn’t make up. Here’s your proof.

Ketzman, by the way, is a heck of a player at Atlético de Madrid in Spain. The striker nicknamed “Batman” has also spent time with PSV Eindhoven and Chelsea.
