Jadran Sport Says It is Ljuboja Over Pantelic

Igor Krstic, the Grand Poobah of Jadran Sport, tells us Petkovic is going to take Daniel Ljuboja over Marko Pantelic. Basically it comes down to Ljuboja being more consistent and generally a better ‘helper’ up front. Pantelic though is apparently the more dangerous of the two if he is on his game.

It will be interesting to see what Petkovic does, because Pantelic can clearly play with the big boys.

Well, Ljuboja was in form 2 months ago and now Pantelic is.

I think, both can make it to the roster as they are very equal from #3 to #7 (Ljuboja, Vucinic, Zigic, Pantelic, Paunovic).

Only Kezman and Milosevic are sure, but I expect Zigic, Ljuboja and Vucinic and hottest candidates, as they were allways in the squad during the qualifiers and the recent friendlies.

Again, according to their current form and lethality i.f.o.t. goal, Pantelic is the most dangerous of the combo.

yeah, this seems to be what others are thinking. if pantelic can keep it up he might be able to force his way into the lineup for sure.

Pantelic is more dangerous than any of these guys. I think he’s the man for 1st team.

I don’t think Pantelic is going to get the call. Petkovic has hinted at bringing the main team used in qualifying and Pantelic wasn’t really that involved. We’ll see though.
