I Got the Score Wrong… 1-0 Dutch
Good game Dutch. Give Arjen Robben some tulips.

koroman should play in front and from the start in our next game. he showed no fear from the dutch, and should be the first name up on teamsheet.
we have lost a good oportunity to win against dutch, as this is their weakest team for a long time, whathever they think.
obviously we are half way out of this world cup, but hope dies hard.
i hope we get luck (lots of) on our side against argies and ivory coast beat holland. that would leave group c looking interesting with all tree teams with 3 points.

Slow first half but a very strong second. Yes, agreed Koromon should have started.
We had some great chances and never quit. The Serbs kept up the attack and had some terrific chances. Pity the first half Robbins goal, but to his credit, he’s a fiesty, quick runner who just out ran our D.
We should have equalized to get the point but as Kezman said today post game “there are still six ponts left to play for”.
A major challenge, no doubt, but our boys are up for it.

One other thing. Now that CG is gone, let’s bring back the real Serb red-blue and white flag back. And Boze Pravde!! To hell with the absurditiy and stupidity of Hej Sloveni!! That anthem is totally bizarre.
Lyle, man, sorry for the non sport comment, but I need to rant.
Napred Srbija!!!

In light of the upcoming match I thought this might be of interest.
There is a cool video clip about the Ivorian team as they get ready for the WorldCup I found here:

The Dutch ha dluck yesterday. In the second half they started to play on time. Suddenly they all got cramps and needed 1 minute to execute a free kick in their own half. I think they mostly waited for the final whistle. For me they are no World Cup favourites.
As for Serbia…with a new line up and a more offensive strategs we can beat argentina. Im sure of that
Cheers

Its just disturbing how Ilija Petkovic didn’t see how much of a bad idea it was to put an out of form centre back, NENAD Djordjevic on right back. If he was to overlook Basta, he could at least have put him in the centre with Krstajic and let Gavrancic play on the right like he has up until now.
We really need to organise the midfield too, so come on Petko, who’s IN and who’s OUT.
Another thing about our forwards, Zigic should be starting alongside with Kezman to give us all the more time with his height advantage. No disrespect to our captain Savo, he is the most passionate YUGOSLAV player to ever have played and its a shame he couldn’t achieve more on the international level.

Kezman je govno. Zigic and Ljuboja up front. Djordjevic attacking mid. Stankovic and Koroman on wings. BEST.

It was a good game. The Serbian defence absolutely snuffed Ruud right out of the game.
